Mountain Climber

My goals take shape in the form of mountains. Created by my fervent imagination, they occupy an important place in my mind. I am drawn to their peaks with an irresistible gaze. Every day I think about climbing but I don’t know what is holding me back. I am convinced that if I do not pursue my goals, I will be ordained to an unfulfilled life. I feel it in my soul to be great. If I am truly committed to realizing my potential, I must cross the threshold of the mountain. So I do. Regardless of the opinions of others, I ascend with confidence. I am not afraid of failure but rather I have an immense fear of regret. As I venture into uncharted territory, I remember that my attitude will test me more than any dangerous terrain. A positive outlook and well-formed habits will serve me well. The journey is long and exhausting. I am in no rush because I understand that all steps are necessary. I keep pushing forward, never giving up. Coming off the slope, I am finally victorious at the top! I take a moment to celebrate my accomplishment. In self-reflection, I remember the courage and perseverance it took to climb and conquer. From this experience, I am a changed man. I now have the confidence to do it again. Complacency isn’t who I am, so I dedicate my life to achieving as many goals as possible. And when all is said and done, I can look back at the mountain range that is my life and be certain that I have lived with a purpose.
