How Rappers Can Make Money with NFTs

A few weeks ago, I bought a mystery box from one of my favorite rappers.

When I received the box I found a QR code inside. Once scanned, the code took me to a private Dropbox.

There, I was able to listen to an unreleased song.

But by the fourth listen, I started wishing that I could download and take ownership of this unreleased MP3 from my favorite rapper!

Humans love collecting and taking ownership of things.

Rappers freestyle over beats all the time. It’s like going to the gym for them.

Gary Vaynerchuk once said that if you have the talent to release a song a day, you should. However, I don’t think you even need to do that much!

I think we’re at a place technologically with NFTs where you can freestyle over a beat for 30 seconds, upload it to an NFT marketplace like OpenSea, and sell it for 1 ETH, which is $4000.

If you freestyle over 50 royalty-free beats, sell them on OpenSea for 1 Ethereum each, you could make $200k!

Oh, and the best part is that every time someone sells your freestyle to another person, you can get royalties!
